How to Send an E-mail through Microsoft Dynamics Realtime
Chapter 1: Setting Up Your E-mail
1. Open Microsoft Dynamics: Navigate to the e-mail section.
2. Check the From E-mail: Ensure it is set to `from@dynamics.csusm.edu`.
3. Set the Reply-To E-mail: Go to settings and set the reply-to e-mail to `department@csusm.edu`.

1. Understand Compliance Profile: It is the subscription or unsubscribe center for your business unit.
2. Set Compliance Profile: Ensure it is set to California State University, San Marcos, and the purpose is commercial.
3. Add Compliance Details: Insert the company address and unsubscribe link from the personalization section.
Chapter 3: Preparing the E-mail for Sending
1. Check Plain Text Version: Ensure the plain text version is included.
2. Send a Test E-mail: Use the test send feature to send a test e-mail to yourself or another contact.
3. Personalize the E-mail: Add personalizations like first name or major if needed.
Chapter 4: Sending the E-mail
1. Mark as Ready to Send: Click the "Ready to Send" button to indicate the e-mail is ready.

3. Select the Segment: Choose the appropriate segment from the list. If no segments are visible, contact the Dynamics team.

1. Outbound Marketing Lists: Note that the "Send Now" feature cannot be used for outbound lists. Contact the Dynamics team for assistance.
2. Preview and Send: Preview the e-mail and send it to the selected segment.
